SCRIPTURE:
Everything you treasure most will be taken from you. ~ Obadiah 1:6
OBSERVATION:
Everything I treasure most will be taken from me...
Pretty sobering...
Everything except Jesus...
...if I will only treasure Him most...
...above everything else...
...and everyone else...
...especially myself...
APPLICATION:
Treasure Jesus above all else...
...and act accordingly...
PRAYER:
Lord God - Please forgive my selfish self-treasuring - disobediently putting my wants above Your commands and purposes and will for my life - Thank You for the forgiveness offered through Jesus, for Your grace and mercy, and for the Holy Spirit's presence and strength to lead and guide me in the ways You would have me follow - May I remember You are my treasure and act accordingly in all things today... In the Name of Jesus, and for Your glory and honor and praise in all things I say and do...
