Also I think I've realized that part of the reason I'm not into altars (aside from the general implications of altars (IE praying to another entity) going against my personal craft) is because even though prior to losing the house we DID have a stable home for like eight years

I've been a lot more transient than my parents and I still feel really transient (because well, I am)

And altars kind of carry the implication that once you make them, they're not to be Packed And Moved very much

and that just doesn't suit the lifestyle I have
