Yes, Newt, Gaster weighs about 3 kg, because he is skeleton… as for Gaster's gesture in the right picture, when he gets nervous, he starts drumming his fingers on various objects and on his fist, and yes, Newt and Gaster are friends in Eviltale (Newt is my OC). And most likely you don't understand the chronology of these pictures, so I'll explain, first Newt introduced Gaster to Asgore, then he almost drowned and met Mermy for the first time, then they fell in love with each other, then he helped Gaster cope with the loss
