Look how DEEP I am, Tumblr! I need to start playing piano again, and learn to sing whilst I plays. 💛 Piano remains my favorite instrument, soft and loud, dark and light, quick and slow. I feel like there's no other instrument that can demand your attention with sounds so soft you have to be silent to hear them; however, in a quick instance, it can grab an entire crowd's attention with an immediate boisterous bangin' of keys. It holds so much emotion, in every key there are so many different possibilities for feeling and so many ways to display beauty. xoxo, EvJCam @evjcam

Training my mind to look at stressful, new situations as blessings is still difficult for me. Growth doesn't happen when you do the same thing every day. Love yourself and others through their mistakes, otherwise nothing will change.

I’d like to think I’m using my 20’s to create an understanding of myself and my emotions, feelings, angers, triggers, dislikes, passions, and understandings. So that one day I am whole enough to look at my child in the eyes, when they fuck up, and have the patience and love to teach them.

Inside every adult lurks a graduation speaker dying to get out, some world-weary pundit eager to pontificate on life to young people who'd rather be Rollerblading. Most of us, alas, will never be invited to sow our words of wisdom among an audience of caps and gowns, but there's no reason we can't entertain ourselves by composing a Guide to Life for Graduates.

This article is more relevant to my life as a college grad than ever. It's amazing how people can inspire you to be more, and to live happier.
