Oh definitely probably a rare thing the wiki lists "Shirane, Haruo. Early Modern Japanese Literature: An Anthology, 1600-1900. Columbia University Press. (2004)" as the source for the mouth on head thing and then there was a mention of a flower containing her soul from a book from 1922 which is also probably super rare but I do like the idea of flowers in my ice maidens, without access to the source I'm imagining like a beauty and the beast thing with the rose
