This past Sunday (September 10th) , a man whom I’ve seldom talked about, yet affected me so greatly, passed away. Retired Lieutenant colonel Jim Channon was a visionary, something of a mystic, and most certainly the closest to a real Wizard the world may ever get ( although you may know him better as the man who stares at goats. Jeff Bridges even played him in the movie of the same name). Can you just imagine someone like that responding to a letter some 13 year old kid who managed to find copy of his book from the 70’s? Well he did. And that kid sure appreciated it, thank again for that Jim. Be expecting a few more posts about this man in the upcoming days. The First Earth Battalion never had a better leader. Go Planet Jim, Go Planet. You’ll live on in all of us.
