Rahi was crouched in a garden, having found a group of tiny bulbasaur. They recognized these! They remembered Homura showing them a venusaur with her young offspring.

The little Tapu in question was also helping themselves to a mid-exploration snack, steadily working through the broader, leafy foliage, having already taken bites here and there out of at least a third of the plants. How far were they from home that made them so hungry?

Of course, it was a vacation stay with their big brother Kyouma! A natural early waker, the young child had slipped away from the Raikou. He wasn’t going to be happy when he woke up but that wasn’t their problem.

     Ah, so after quite a time with very few meetings, Jax feels positive about this. It’s always nice to see the other man. He places his phone on the bed next to where he lies, stretching gently. Waking up to the reply was nice.

  Grabby hands at Cyan but for rocket verse

He motions for Cyan to come closer and holds his arms out. It doesn’t look like he’s going to say it just yet. Maybe he’s trying to get him to guess.

He just comes around and idly pets Fred's back, now that he's learned he shouldn't ruffle his hair. Proud of you!

“Cyan! I--”

“Tha-thank you, Cyan. Think I needed that. I been havin’ a real bad week...” He sniffs loudly. “I ain’t cryin’ by the way!”

He punctuates this by sniffing again and wiping his eyes on the side of his arm.

“I been givin’ Butterhead a wash an’ he’s sheddin’ pollen like mad! Dust in my nose... Y-you should come visit him n-next time...”

Alfie had two types of credit cards that he usually carried around with him. A solid credit score on each. One that he used for business transactions, and the other for the occasional personal purchase. He kept these two accounts separate, making sure the two never got mixed up. 

But for some, business is personal. At least that was what he learned the hard way after waking up bruised in a hospital bed. 

One moment he was leaving a bar that he had frequented often in Unova, the next, a trainer was onto him, quick as lightning. Of course he carried Ra with him, but had left the rest of his team at home (a mistake he wouldn’t make again.) In his opinion, it was quite distasteful. There was no challenge to a battle, no eye contact, no exchange of money afterward which he was grateful for, just one moment having a peaceful late night walk and the next a massive Stoutland tackling him to the ground and a voice encouraging the attack. 

And so all of Alfie’s emergency contacts were notified, including one slightly distressing message coming from an unknown number to Cyan’s personal phone. 

[????]: Get on the next flight to Unova. It’s booked for you. From there a cab will pick you up and take you to where Al is. 

[????]: If I was you I’d pick him up some flowers too. A fruit basket for Mrs. Arollo. One of them Kanto sodas too, with the marble. He loves those.

Well, who gets the bed?

     Kane stands and glances around the... Well, rather small room, his features showing he’s rather unimpressed with the suite. The situation? Well, could be worse. It isn’t the first time he’s been caught too far from home and has to sleep elsewhere... Usually he parks on some grass and curls up but this will do for now. Rather a bed than the chilly grass outside.

     “Whuh?” Seemingly coming out of a world of his own, he looks to Cyan and then the bed. It’s just a crappy little double bed, not even king size. Could it fit them both? “I mean, w’can share.”

     He wanders to the closet and flings it open, door almost coming off the hinges. Finding no extra blankets or pillows, he isn’t surprised in the least and just closes the doors again, albeit this time quietly. He isn’t gonna pay extra for breaking anything.

     “No extra anythin’s so neither of us would ‘ave a comfy night on’t’floor. An’ don’ worry, I ain’ some weirdy. Won’ try to touch yer or shit unless yer into tha’.”

     And with that he jumps face flat onto the bed which in turn makes a horrible screech of old springs suffering under the weight of anything upon them. 

    “Fuck. This is like t’start of some bad porno. I mean, guess I’ll pay for t’room and yer can owe me?”

     Then he laughs, rolling onto his side and propping his head up.

     “Bow chikka wow wow.”
