Isaac approached the bar, stopping for a moment before gently nudging the small recruit who was slumped over the counter.

“Noooo…. that tickleeeeesss.” Manda squirmed, rising her head from the bar and taking a long while to process the identify of her new visitor. “Zay-zay!” She engulfed the avatar in a hug, squeezing tightly and rocking him side to side. “Howzit goin’?”

Isaac approached Manda, a glass of water in his hand. "Mind if I sit with you? I don't really know anyone else here."

There weren’t too many people in the Avenger’s bar at the moment. Alex had departed from mixing drinks to pursue one of the scientist’s who had come in on their break, to great success. Manda had only been through one drink since arriving, taking her time to nurse the booze.

Manda looked up from her drink at the familiar voice, face widening into her regular friendly smile. “Sure no problem, Isaac.” She patted the stool next to her at the bar twice. “What’s up?”

Isaac walked into the armory, and the new sensor bleeped, causing him to jump. "Woah! Did I do something wrong?"

Manda giggled, looking up from her work on modifying SPARK’s Auto-Cannon.

“Nope! You didn’t do anything wrong, Isaac.” She smiled, turning down the volume on her music with a quick gesture to the radio. “Just our new security system verifying your presence.”

The armoury recruit activated her wrist comm, looking over the security readout and chiming in a command: “Bio-analysis Complete. Subject Recorded - Set Subject Name >.” Her wrist comm beeped in confirmation and she nodded.

Manda straightened up. “So, what brings you to my corner of the ship?” She looked around, “I’m sorry to say that if you were looking for Cat-Tower, he’s snuggled up with Joey for a nap right now.”

After returning from a lunch break, Manda witnessed the strangest thing. Their was an Avatar in the armory, and it was playing with Cat-Tower.

Manda froze on the spot the moment she caught sight of the strange Avatar. What was it doing here? How did it get on the ship? And why the hell did it have it’s hands on Cat-Tower?

Her instincts screamed to protect the tiny kitten, but for *once* her logic was running the show. She’d seen the tactical feeds of the combat squad against one of these things. Dangerous didn’t seem to be an accurate enough word…

This seemed as good a time as any to cash in on the Instructor’s favour.

Just as she was backing up towards the armoury exit to go and get help, Cat-Tower mewled at her, drawing the strange Avatar’s attention to her arrival.
