AGHHHHH I ENJOYED THE REVERXE SHOWCASE TOO MUCH, I'M STILL RIDING THE HIGH LMHOOOO. ヽ(>∀<☆)ノ

Real talk tho, I'm def not w/o disappointment in the cb itself & esp the way everything was handled (This is uh. nowhere near their greatest cb obv haha... and if that really is AI in the MV then... omfg WHY (」°ロ°)」). But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't still happy overall, I can't help myself tbh. While I wholeheartedly despise everything SM stands for atp and will never forgive them for how much damage they've done to this insanely talented & unbreakably close-knit group, I just love the members, their passion for everything, & their love for each other too much to let SM's many, major screw-ups dictate my feelings towards EXO as a whole.

There's. A LOT. of general negativity surrounding this cb, and I can't say I don't share others' feelings towards the poor amount of quality effort SM put into this. But that's just it — while SM continues to unsurprisingly suck at their job, the members themselves never fail to deliver. As many "meh" or just flat-out bad tracks we've gotten over the past few releases, it was never EXO themselves that made it "meh" or "bad" imo. EXO take the crap they're given and make it iconic; their pure talent combined w/ unfaltering devotion to constantly improve themselves is what sells it for me, not any halfhearted attempt SM makes at being "relevant" or w/e. (╥﹏╥)

So anyhoo, am I happy w/ the album overall? Not really. Am I happy CBX was wrongfully excluded from this cb? Absolutely fricking not, and I just know it would've benefited immensely from their presence. Everything surrounding this should def not be w/o criticism, SM deserves at least that. But I'm taking the little bit of good we got from this — LAY participating (I was so sad he wasn't at the showcase tho, holy crap whyyyy 。゜゜(´Ｏ`) ゜゜。), astonishing performances as always, a painfully bittersweet reunion — w/ the ever-apparent bad — SM & the kpop industry as a whole suck to no end, and we all (fans & artists alike) deserve sm better after all we've been through together.

No matter how many disappointments SM has & likely will throw our way, I'll never cease in giving EXO & its members unwavering love. (♡μ_μ)
