Part one two four
────۶ৎ────────۶ৎ────────۶ৎ────────۶ৎ────Your fingers shook as you held the phone. For several seconds you simply stared at those words on the screen. They looked twisted and ugly. Possessive in a way that made your skin crawl. Yet the worst part was how clearly you could still hear his voice behind them. That deep lazy drawl. The same one that once called you princess right before kissing your forehead and then shattering every piece of your control.
You locked the screen fast but the damage was done. Jongin had already caught the storm crossing your face.
“Jungkook?” he asked in a low voice.
You swallowed hard and nodded weakly. His jaw tightened for a brief moment though he tried to hide it.
“What did he say?”
“Nothing important” you lied straight away.
Jongin studied you carefully. “Y/n.”
“I said it’s nothing.” Your words came out sharper than you wanted.
A thick silence filled the car after that. Guilt gnawed at you when he turned his gaze back to the road without another word. He never pushed or argued. That gentle patience only made the weight on your chest heavier.
“Sorry” you sighed while rubbing your forehead. “I’m just overwhelmed right now.”
He stayed quiet for a beat then spoke calmly...“Did he threaten you?”
Your eyes widened. The word landed too perfectly. Still you shook your head. “No. He’s just being Jungkook.” Jongin gave a small humorless smile. “I don’t like what that sentence implies baby.”
You leaned your head against the seat feeling completely drained....Neither did you...The rest of the drive stretched out in heavy quiet until the car finally pulled into the underground parking of your apartment building....When the engine died you let out a long breath. Every part of your body ached from the emotional toll.
Jongin turned to you right away. “Come here.”
He reached over and gently pulled you closer by the wrist before pressing a soft kiss to your forehead. Your eyes closed on their own....Safe...Jongin had always been that for you. A steady shelter in the chaos.
“I’ll make you tea upstairs” he murmured. “Then you’re sleeping for at least twelve hours. No arguments.” A weak laugh escaped you. “yes, my lord.”
He smiled faintly and got out first. For that brief moment alone you glanced back at your phone. Three new messages waited. Your stomach twisted into knots. You knew better than to look yet your fingers moved anyway.
The first two stung but the last one stopped your breath cold.
Does he touch you the way I used to?
Heat flooded your cheeks...Your chest squeezed tight as memories you had buried for four long years came rushing back fierce and unwanted. Jungkook’s fingers wrapped around your throat...his warm lips trailing down your neck. Those filthy whispers against your skin while he held you so close it felt like drowning in him.
You squeezed your eyes shut...No....You refused to let this pull you under tonight.
Stepping out you froze when you saw Jongin waiting by the elevator. He watched you with quiet worry etched across his face. “Y/n” he said softly. “What did he say?”
You shook your head quickly. “It doesn’t matter.” He walked over and took your purse from your shoulder with a sigh. “I’m trying hard not to overstep because I know tonight hit you deep. But I hate seeing you scared every time your phone lights up.”
Your throat felt tight....scared...was that it? Or were you simply weak for still letting him affect you like this? “He just likes getting reactions” you whispered. “That’s all.”
Jongin’s eyes narrowed. “And you think this behavior is normal?” It wasn’t. Jungkook had never learned where to stop especially when it came to you and your heart.
The elevator doors slid open. He let you step in first then followed. As they closed silence wrapped around the small space like a blanket too heavy to shake off.
Then your phone buzzed again.
Jongin noticed instantly. His eyes dropped to your hand before meeting yours. “Answer it.”
You frowned. “What?”
“Answer him” he repeated his voice steady yet darker now. “He’s not going to stop otherwise.”
Nerves churned in your stomach. You unlocked the screen slowly.
I know you're reading my messages princess, you too can't seem to stay away from me.
The words hit sharp. Your breath caught hard. After four years Jeon Jungkook still knew every hidden crack in you. The nervous tells you thought you had fixed. It shook you more than you wanted to admit.
You locked the phone again. The air inside the elevator grew thick and suffocating.
Jongin watched you for a long moment. “Block him.” You lifted your gaze to his. He didn’t sound angry which somehow made the decision harder.
“Jongin…”
“Y/n.” His tone stayed calm and firm. “This isn’t healthy.”
Your fingers gripped the phone tighter. He was right. Deep down you knew it. Yet a painful twist pulled inside your chest at the idea of cutting Jungkook off forever. Again. Pathetic. You hated that lingering weakness in yourself.
Jongin saw the conflict in your eyes and his expression softened. “I’m not asking because I’m jealous. I’m asking because I can see you breaking every time he reaches out.”
Your eyes stung with unshed tears. You looked back at the screen one last time. Those possessive words stared back too intimate for someone who belonged in your past. Your finger hovered over the contact.
Then you pressed block.
Everything went silent. No more buzzing. No more messages slipping through to unsettle you. It felt like you had ripped something vital from your own chest. Jongin stepped closer and brushed his thumb gently across your cheek.
“Good” he whispered.
He leaned down and kissed your forehead lingering there with warmth. Just comforting. Like he was proud you had chosen yourself.
“I know this isn’t easy” he said near your temple. “But you don’t owe him any part of you anymore.”
The doors opened moments later. He wrapped an arm around your shoulders and guided you out while that strange empty ache lingered in your chest. You told yourself it was the right choice. You had to believe it.

Miles away in Jungkook’s penthouse the mood felt entirely different. Low music drifted through the living room while half-empty whiskey glasses sat on the marble table. Taehyung lounged on the couch scrolling his phone. Jimin and Hoseok argued playfully near the kitchen island. Namjoon looked tired. Yoongi sat back silently watching the maknae the whole time.
The younger man ignored everyone around him. He sat near the floor-to-ceiling windows phone in one tattooed hand and an untouched drink in the other.
“You’re staring at that phone like it owes you money” Taehyung finally joked. No reply came.
Jimin glanced over. “Did she reply at least?”
Jungkook’s jaw flexed. He typed another message.
Princess?
It failed to send. Not Delivered.
He tried again. Same result.
The room grew quiet as the others sensed the change. Taehyung lowered his phone....Yoongi’s eyes sharpened and Namjoon already seemed to know.
Jungkook let out a soft laugh but it held no real amusement. “She blocked me.” The words dropped like stones. Hoseok frowned. “Wait seriously?”
Jungkook leaned back against the window wtongue pressing against his cheek. A quiet sharp anger flickered in his eyes.
“She blocked me because of him” he muttered.
Yoongi sighed. “Or maybe because you sent her those weird texts right after seeing her again.”
Jungkook looked up. “Weird?” “You asked if her fiancé touched her” Jimin said flatly.
“And?” Jungkook replied.
“That’s inappropriate behavior” Hoseok added in disbelief almost laughing. Jungkook scoffed and glanced back at his phone. “You didn’t see her tonight. Not the way I did.”
“We all saw her” Namjoon said carefully.
“No.” Jungkook shook his head slowly. A small dangerous smile tugged at his lips. “She still wore the bracelet.”
That detail pulled everyone’s focus.
Taehyung sat up straighter. “For real?”
Jungkook nodded...Dark hope mixed with raw obsession flashed across his face. “She hid it after I noticed. That means she knows it still matters.”
Yoongi’s expression hardened. “Kook.” “She blocked me” Jungkook repeated quietly. “But she kept the bracelet for four years.”
Everyone felt the dangerous pull in his words. He would cling to that contradiction now and let it fuel him.
Yoongi leaned back. “This is exactly why finding her was a bad idea.” Jungkook smiled faintly and took a slow sip of whiskey eyes turning toward the glittering city below.
“No” he said softly. “Finding her was the best thing I ever did hyung. ”
His gaze grew darker with quiet determination.
“Now I just need her to realize that too.”

Morning arrived too quietly for your liking. Soft sunlight filtered through the curtains of your apartment...carrying the faint, comforting smell of coffee from the kitchen. For one fragile moment, buried beneath the warm sheets..you almost convinced yourself that last night had been nothing more than an exhausting nightmare.
Then your eyes landed on your phone resting silently beside the bed..and reality settled heavily inside your chest again.
Jungkook.
You squeezed your eyes shut for a brief second before forcing yourself out of bed. Your body still felt emotionally drained...heavy with the weight of the ballroom...those desperate messages, and the memories that refused to stay buried where they belonged. The apartment...however looked peaceful. Safe.
Jongin stood in the kitchen wearing gray slacks and a black button-up, sleeves rolled neatly to his elbows. His glasses rested low on his nose as he quietly flipped through something on his tablet..coffee mug in hand. The sight was so domestic it made your chest ache in a strange..bittersweet way. This was the kind of life you had once begged the universe for... stable mornings....soft conversations...someone who stayed.
He looked up the moment he heard your footsteps, and his expression softened instantly.
“Morning, angel.”
You nodded weakly as you walked toward the kitchen island. “Morning.”
Jongin noticed your tired face right away. “Don't want to sleep more?”
You forced a small smile. " Not really in the mood for sleeping.”
A faint frown creased his brows. He set the tablet aside and stepped closer. “Come here.”
Before you could protest...he gently pulled you against his chest. One hand settled at your waist while the other rubbed slow...soothing circles up and down your back. He was always so warm. Your forehead rested against his shoulder automatically as you let out a shaky exhale.
“Better?” he asked softly. A little..maybe...uou nodded anyway.
Jongin pressed a kiss to the top of your head before pulling back slightly. “I canceled your afternoon meetings, by the way.” Your eyes widened. “hone-”
“You’re exhausted,” he cut in calmly. “And before you argue, I already told your assistant you weren’t feeling well.”
You sighed...tired and grateful all at once. “You didn’t have to do that.”
“I know but I really wanted to.” God. Why was he always like this? So steady. So caring. Your gaze dropped unconsciously to the engagement ring on your finger...and fresh guilt twisted painfully beneath your ribs. You were trying... you really were.
Then the apartment intercom rang.
Both of you frowned. Jongin glanced at the clock. “Were you expecting someone?” You shook your head. “No.”
It rang again..more insistently this time. Jongin walked over to the wall monitor...and you followed slowly behind him. The moment the screen flickered on...your blood ran cold.
Black baseball cap. Black hoodie. A tattooed hand resting casually in his pocket. Jeon Jungkook stared straight into the security camera like he already knew you were watching.
Your breathing stopped. “What the fuck...?” Jongin’s expression darkened. “How does he know where we live?”
You felt horrified you don't remember giving him the address last night.
Downstairs, Jungkook tilted his head slightly toward the camera...a small smile tugging at his lips. Then he lifted something into view...your favorite bakery box. The exact strawberry croissants you used to crave on stressful mornings. Your stomach twisted painfully.
“Don’t open the door,” Jongin said immediately.
As if he could hear him...Jungkook leaned closer to the speaker. “I know you’re there, princess.”
Your heartbeat stuttered. Jongin muted the intercom at once. Silence swallowed the apartment.
“He’s insane,” Jongin muttered rubbing his jaw in frustration.
You stared at the blank monitor numb. One question kept circling in your head...how long had Jungkook been watching to find this place?
“Stay here,” Jongin said suddenly.
Your head snapped toward him. “What? No.”
“I’m going downstairs.”
“honey, don’t—”
“Y/n.” His voice stayed calm but firmer now. “He cannot just show up outside our home like this.”
Our home. The words made your chest tighten with a confusing mix of warmth and guilt.
Before you could stop him, Jongin grabbed his suit jacket and headed for the door. Panic surged through you. You knew Jungkook... and something about the look in his eyes on that camera felt horribly wrong. You followed anyway.
“Jongin, wait.”
The elevator ride down felt suffocating. Jongin stood beside you quietly...hands in his pockets...tension radiating from him in controlled waves. Unlike Jungkook, he wasn’t emotionally explosive... which somehow made him scarier when truly upset.. You don't even remember if you ever saw jongin loose his calm.
The doors opened to the private lobby and there he was.
Jungkook leaned lazily against the marble wall holding the bakery box. An expensive black car waited outside and the security guards were awkwardly pretending not to stare at the globally famous singer trespassing like a deranged ex.
The second he saw you..Jungkook looked up and smiled. Like he belonged there. Like no time had passed at all.
“Morning, princess.” His gaze moved slowly over your oversized sweater and sleepy face. For a flicker of a second something softer passed through his eyes. “You look tired.”
Jongin stepped slightly in front of you..protective. Jungkook noticed immediately, and the softness vanished.
“She likes these.” Your stomach twisted because he was right. Years later...and he still remembered that tiny bakery near your old apartment.
Jongin remained unmoved. “You showing up uninvited outside our home after she blocked you last night is really crossing the line.”
That finally wiped the smile from Jungkook’s face. His eyes shifted to you. “You blocked me!”
The sentence sounded quieter than you expected. Almost like he's still digesting the fact that you can block him.
Your fingers curled nervously at your sides but you forced the answer out. “Yes.”
A long silence stretched between you. Jungkook stared at you so intensely it made your skin burn. Then he laughed softly lowering his gaze to the bakery box. “Cute,” he muttered.
“Excuse me?”
He looked back up, and there it was that dangerous calmness. “Blocking me won’t make me disappear princess. You should know that better than anyone.”
Jongin’s jaw clenched. “Enough.” He stepped forward. “You’re leaving. Now.”
For the first time...Jungkook properly looked at him again and smiled. Not kindly. “You think you can order me around?” he said quietly...tilting his head. “You keep saying ‘our home’ like she wasn’t calling another place home for years before you existed.”
“Jungkook, stop,” you warned sharply.
But he ignored you eyes locked on Jongin. “Must be exhausting... loving someone whose heart still flinches when they see somebody else.” He looked at you and his voice dropped. “You wanted marriage from me for years.”
The words landed like a slap. A bitter...broken laugh escaped your mouth. “Wow. You really have the audacity to say that to me?”
“Y/n-”
“No.” Your voice cracked. “No, because you don’t get to stand here acting hurt now. Not after what you did to me.”
Guilt and defensiveness flickered across his face..but you didn’t care anymore.
“You left me,” you continued...breathing uneven. “I begged you not to leave and you still walked out like I was nothing.”
“You know it wasn’t like that-”
“Then what was it like, Jungkook?” You snapped. “Explain it to me...because from where I was standing you picked the woman who cheated on you over the person who actually loved you.”
Jongin stayed beside you quietly....letting you speak everything you had never gotten closure for.
“I came back for you,” Jungkook said suddenly voice rougher now. The lobby fell silent again.
“I looked for you everywhere after I realized what I did.”
Your expression twisted painfully. Once...those words would have healed you but Not anymore.
“After she cheated again??,” you questioned coldly.
Jungkook went still.
You laughed softly...tears gathering in your eyes. “you really are something else jeon!! You only came back because she must have fucked up again and I told you she would.”
The sentence hit hard. You watched something crack in his face like you had reached into his chest and squeezed.
Jongin glanced at you with quiet pride.
Jungkook stared at you for a long moment before scoffing. “Then why are you still looking affected by me?”
“What?” “Why are you nervous?” He stepped closer. “Why do your hands keep trembling every time I get near you if you’re so over me?”
“Back off,” Jongin warned.
Jungkook ignored him. His eyes dragged over you before landing on your wrist. The bracelet. The thin silver one he had bought you years ago during a drunk...laughing night in a convenience store at 2 a.m.
His expression shifted...dark...hopeful...possessive. “You still wear it.” Your breath caught...Fuck...You had forgotten you were wearing it.
“Four years and you still keep wearing my bracelet?” His voice lowered. “Baby, you really expect me to believe you moved on?”
“Don’t call me that.”
But he looked almost insane like the bracelet had confirmed every obsessive thought he’d carried for months. “Does he know how special it is for you?”
“Jungkook, enough.”
“Or should I tell him how you used to cry whenever I tried taking this bracelet off because you said it made you feel connected to me?”
“Shut up.” you felt pathetic at his confidence.
“See?” He looked at Jongin with a soft laugh. “She still loves me.”
That was it.
You ripped the bracelet off your wrist violently and threw it at his chest. “Here! Take it then! Take your fucking bracelet and leave me alone already!”
The silver chain hit him before clattering to the floor near his feet. Silence swallowed everything.
Jungkook stared down at it like you had thrown something far more precious than metal. For the first time...he looked small. Wounded.
“You threw it away?” he asked quietly.
Your chest hurt so badly you could barely speak. “You threw me away first.”
That snapped the last thread of his composure.
Jungkook grabbed your wrist, desperate rather than violent. “Don’t fucking say that princess please...”
Jongin moved instantly. His fist slammed across Jungkook’s face with a sickening sound that echoed through the lobby. You gasped.
Jungkook staggered back, blood splitting across his lower lip.
“Touch her again and I’ll seriously break your jaw next,” Jongin spat coldly. Eyes full of anger.
Security started panicking...but the situation only worsened. Jungkook laughed..low and bitter...wiping the blood with his thumb.
“Wow. You hit harder than you look, businessman.”
“And you cry harder than you sing jeon,” Jongin replied smoothly.
Even Jungkook looked caught off guard. Jongin stepped fully in front of you, protective and confident. “You spent four years obsessing over a woman you abandoned so many times and still think you’re the victim? That’s really embarrassing to be honest.”
The humiliation hit deep. Jungkook’s face darkened.
“Showing up outside our apartment. Texting her weird sexual shit after she blocked you. Grabbing her wrist?” Jongin scoffed. “You’re lucky she remembers you fondly...because personally? I think you need therapy and a restraining order.”
“honey, stop-”
“No, baby...because this is insane.” Jongin glanced back at you before facing Jungkook again. “You left her destroyed and now you’re spiraling because somebody else loved her properly after you failed to?”
Failed. The word bruised Jungkook badly.
“You think she loves you?” Jungkook asked quietly.
Jongin smirked. “yes she does in her own way and just so you know she respects me. Which already puts me above you.”
You saw the murderous glint in Jungkook’s eyes. His gaze shifted to you, standing behind Jongin. The heartbreak, jealousy and humiliation twisted into something uglier.
He bent down slowly..picked up the bracelet and tucked it into his pocket.
“I tried doing this nicely,” he said...smiling in a way that was beautiful...empty and terrifying. “I came here ready to apologize. Beg even.”
His eyes flickered to Jongin. “But now? I think maybe you need reminding.”
A chill ran up your spine. “What the hell is that supposed to mean?”
Jungkook kept staring only at you. “It means one day you’ll walk away from him all by yourself. And when you do... you’ll come back begging me to forgive you for standing beside another man like this.”
You felt real fear crawl through your chest this time. Not just heartbreak or fear Because he sounded absolutely certain.

_________________________
His arm is tight around your waist, holding not only you but a bottle of beer. You sit next to him, your bikini doesn’t leave much to the imagination which annoys Kai a bit, because it turns him on. He loves the way you look, maybe a bit too much.
Everytime you’re intimate he stares at your body, taking it in like he’ll get sent to hell if he doesn’t worship it enough. His soft fingers trace over your skin, over every curve and every dent. Over every scar and over every insecurity. He always lets you take the lead because he loves how confident you get, and how hot you look when your thick and plush thighs are straddled over his.
The water is hot, it’s a nice contrast to the cool late night air. You can hear the backdoor open and close, your friend comes out with a few beer bottles and places it down next to the pool before she gets back in. You, Kai and a few other friends are hanging out as a celebration of yours and Kai’s marriage.
”So where will the honeymoon be?” A friend of yours asks. She’s sitting infront of you, her freckles glow in the setting sunlight.
”We’re going to Europe… you know, take the train through out the continent, experience the different countries!” You respond, leaning your head down on Kai’s shoulder. Your friends makes awed sounds.
Hours pass, the sun sets lower and lower by the horizon turning the sky into deep shades of orange and pink. Your friends have left at this point but neither you or Kai are planning on getting out of the pool anytime soon. His tan arm is draped over your shoulders, holding you close to his side as you two sit in silence and stare at the setting sun.
”I love you, Kai.” Your voice spreads through the air like how perfume makes a whole room smell like flowers from just a few sprays. Kai’s face spreads into a soft smile. He squeezes you tighter against him, turning his head to face you.
You bring your hand up from the water to his face, slicking his blonde hair back. His smile softens into a smaller one. Barely there but still so evident.
”I love you too, Y/N.” He says, gently grabbing your chin between his fingers to bring you in for a kiss.
Your lips meet his. The taste of beer lingers for a while but it doesn’t matter. The kiss is soft and loving, just like his personality. Your arms wrap around his neck as you kiss him deeper and he moves his hand, cupping your face instead. His tongue presses into your mouth, both of your tongues tangling together. His hands reach lower, down to your waist. His muscles flex as he lifts you up onto his lap, a soft and quiet gasp escapes you. He chuckles slightly, looking up at you with glimmering eyes. Fuck he loves you so much. Your hair drapes over your shoulders and frame your face in such a beautiful way that he can’t help but stare. A soft pink color spreads across your cheeks and you turn your head away.
”You’re beautiful, Y/N… I can’t believe I got to marry a person like you…” he says, his voice tender and soft. He means it, really, really, means it. You can tell by the way his eyes are darting back and forth between yours and the way his fingers are slightly trembling on your waist.
His lips are plush against your neck as he’s kissing you like a man gone mad. His hands are up your back, holding you close as he leans forward. You lean your head back, giving him more space to kiss. A soft groan escapes him without meaning to. At the nape of your neck he gently bites down, leaving a light bruise and you moan softly. But Kai doesn’t seem to realize. He immediately pulls back, looking up at you with worried eyes. ”Did I hurt you?” He asks, bringing his hand up to your neck. Patting the bruise with his thumb.
You reassure him that you’re fine. He didn’t hurt you. With the reassurance, Kai continues marking up your neck. ”Y/N… can we.. take this inside?” He asks softly against your neck.
He pushes you back gently on the large and soft bed. Then he starts pulling your bikini panties off, slowly and deliberately like he’s savoring your reaction.
They land in the corner of your room, the both of you know that they will not get touched for multiple hours.
For a second he just stares at you, like you’re the most beautiful thing in the world. Because to him — you are.
Small bumps raise on your skin as you get colder and needier. He traces his finger up and down your wet slit. Your hips jerk forward, craving more of his fingers. A small teasing grin grows on his face.
He leans down, moving his hand from your pussy to the sides of your head. Your lips touch in a frantic and needy kiss. Wet saliva coating both of your lips.
You move your hands over his chest, before moving them lower and lower until they’re at the waist of his trunks.
”Please Y/N… I need you so badly…” he moans quietly against your ear as he coats your neck in kisses.
His lips travel lower and lower, over your chest and over your nipples. Down to your pussy. He drags his tongue over your exposed pussy. A shiver runs through you and you tense up.
His large hands wrap around your plush thighs, fingers digging in so hard they could leave marks. You throw your head back as he shoves his tongue into your pussy. Lapping you up as if he were a dog. Your hands find his hair immediately, tangling in it to hold him close.
His tongue works over your pussy. Then his lips connect with you clit, sucking it.
”Ah- Kai… Ngh…” you moan. Your thighs clench around his head and a low moan escapes him.
”Fuck… Y/N you taste so good…” he groans. Your peak comes crashing down quickly. Leaving you breathless. Kai licks up every last drop of you, keeping you grounded after your intense orgasm.
