#WeCompelYou: The Exorcist Season 3 Renewal Campaign

Fans of THE EXORCIST!

Following last year’s successful #FearTheFeathers campaign, we’re starting a new one to help the push for season 3. While we make noise on social media, we are running this simultaneous campaign to get the attention of FOX. This one might be even more important than last year because of low ratings and the show basically being hidden on Friday nights without promotion. We’d love to have as many people as possible join in on this to make it a success. 

We’re asking you to send your hand prints to FOX headquarters. Like the feathers from last season, the hand print is symbolic for season 2′s story line. It appears in Tomas’ visions, is a tradition for Andy’s children, and symbolizes the growth a family and its bond. The same is true for The Exorcist fandom, who has only grown larger in the past year or so. Together we need to work as a team to get FOX to listen to us and give this amazing series another season. 

So, there’s a few ways you can participate. 

If you have access to paint and paper, you can get crafty and send them as many hand prints as you like. Use multiple colors if you want, get creative!  

If you have crayons, colored pencils, markers, etc., you can trace an outline of your hand. That works just as well! 

You can Google pictures of hand prints to use if you don’t feel like getting crafty. 

And, like last year, there’s instructions for an email option if you aren’t able to mail things. 

We need as many fans as possible to take part in this. Feel free to send a ton of hand prints; the more, the better. You can send them sporadically over a period of time if you want, since this doesn’t have a deadline. 

Please include a note with #RenewTheExorcist and/or #WeCompelYou on it so that FOX knows who the hand prints are from and why they’re arriving. If you’d like to include a postcard from your town or country, even better! Handwritten notes about your love for the show and concern for its renewal are great! PLEASE remember to be polite in your letters! We want this to be a harmless campaign.

I'm gonna finish the exorcist today! At least that's the plan. The last episode I watched was episode 3... I turned it off because I just knew something was about to jump out at me and I'd been scared enough for one day lol 

I really gotta hand it to the crew for scaring me. I haven't been scared of a scary movie in so long bc they're all so generic and tame, and then I start watching this show and I took a 2 day break from it. Guess you can say I love things that creep me out hah

I won't deny spoilers btw. I love spoilers. I've been stalking the exorcist tag for gifs
