I saw my friend’s profile picture on his Whatsapp one day. He was standing on top of somewhere with a background of something like an ocean that are cut by a land across them. It was a unique view which later on I found out that the photo was taken at Padar Island. Padar Island is one of the many islands located within Komodo National Park area in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.

At the right hour and angle, we could see the sand is pink-ish due to the red coral that erodes, and washes ashore there. Pink beach is one of the popular snorkeling spots in Komodo Islands.
