FIELDWORK: SWIPE LEFT! Out on my travels today whilst shopping I was captured by this young man, Lee sporting his #afrotism. I had to stop him to ask how he manages it. Lee kindly agreed to talk to me and for his pic to be taken. He told me that he washes it with tresseme shampoo and conditioner, leaves it to dry (NO BLOW DRYING!) then fluffs it out with his #afropik and it's good to go! At night Lee places a silk head scarf to keep it contained and to keep its shape! He loves his afro and said that this is his way to #expresshimself I LOVE IT!! #afrofreedom #kidzafroroots #positiveafroimagery 🌱...🌳❤
