elevators are underutilized in horror media? every time i take an elevator i get so giddily anxious

general claustrophobia of the walls crushing in on you while you have no where to go

classic "arghg it's taking me to a floor that isn't supposed to be here............ why.........."

breathing noises in the vents

someone manifesting beside you while you're riding alone

something crawling outside of the elevator shaft alongside your elevator making clanging noises while you ascend/descend

sometimes when all 3 walls are mirrored you can imagine your reflection turning around and climbing out and choke u. then you can call it daddy or something

classic elevator death plummets

person with an axe waiting for you outside, though maybe that's cheating because in that case the person with an axe will be the horror instead of the elevator

idk if this'll help but i think you shouldn't feel discouraged about your messy comics! because theyre more simple they give me more of a Saturday comic feel like garfield and stuff. i like it a lot :) and also really like your ocs too. nothings stopping you from doing sketches and improving on them later with lineart or coloring anyway!

also yeah! unfortunately every time i think “im going to draw proper art after this shitty doodle comic” i get more ideas for shitty doodle comics in the midst of drawing them. i’ll just have to... space......... them.......... out

art that amplifies real life elements are the best, these artists must’ve studied thousands of motions and anatomy and decided they can even make it BETTER by creating their own set of physics?! line of action?? poofed up fabric to boost action? who discovered these? and the majority of people find them to be v aesthetic-y while perfect, enhanced motions like these don’t exist irl!! im crying over this picture
