EYES
I examine their eyes.
The eye white, covered with tiny blood rivers;
The lashes, falling down like feathers of a heavenly bird as they blinked;
The iris, having a complex network of moving threads in different shades of blue;
And finally - the pupil.
The pupil absorbing the light is abyss-black.
Oh! Those deep blue eyes forcing me to drown inside of them.
I try to turn my gaze away, but I can’t.
It happens in a matter of seconds...
A metamorphosis of their head, opening the eyes wide and stretching the iris. Those eyes seem to have skin on them centuries old. It’s rough, with scratches and doesn’t stick in some places, opening up another layer underneath.
Out of the pupil, a tongue reaches out for me and before I can grasp the tail of the ugly realization, the pupil sucks me inside of this abyss.
OH! Those deep blue eyes.
