Today marks 3 years since I released my DREAM GAME, Blackout Hospital!! Thank you so much for all the love and support it's received over the years! It's still one of my favorite games I've made and I hope you'll give it a try if you haven't already!! 💉🏥💚
After playing most of the games made by developer @arcadekitten I got really fascinated by all the things that were always left unresolved, all surrounding the same character
Reginald Tetra, a character mysterious in all games he has been part of
So, here's a theory I have formulated to try and explain what's the deal with him using all the information we have of him so far in the games he's in
I present to you the...
Universes Theory
to try to connect all the clues that arcadekitt3n has hidden in her games and how they seem to point to Reginald being the same in all the games
This might be pretty short, I think...?

Ok, the theory starts with one of the pieces of information that made me believe the most about this
Blackout Hospital's Good Ending(We'll explain the "other one" later)
Basically, as the video shows, after being defeated by Vasilis and Mary at the end of Blackout Hospital, Reginald Tetra starts talking to Mary, begging her to not leave him again and how they can still make it work, all before Rune arrives and Reginald allegedly injects himself with a lethal substance before Rune can get him
There's many points to point about this ending due to it being(atleast to me) the ending with more information about Reginald and his connection between games
•Reginald begging Mary to "not leave him again"
•Reginald saying how "despite of not wanting to hurt Mary, he always seems to end up hurting her"
•Reginald saying it "alredy has ruined his life"
•Reginald telling Mary how he "will do better next time" while dying
Basically, this all points to Reginald having been not in this exact situation, but in a similar one before the end of Blackout Hospital
Which, by my deductions, would be Cemetery Mary Reginald
Reginald Tetra in Cemetery Mary is... Weird... He is the most mysterious character in the game across all routes in which he appears
But the point is that by this game, Reginald is alredy capable of murdering if he thinks that would keep Mary happy or even kidnap her if that meant she would stay with him
But, unlike in Blackout Hospital, he seems more... Willing to succumb to his emotions, like shown in the Bad Ending of his route, where he cuts off Mary's tongue and allegedly also her hands so she won't tell what Reginald did
Basically, this would be before his realization in Blackout Hospital, where he realizes how much he's been actually harming Mary
But... How is this possible?
Both games don't have any tying points between eachother
Mary and Crowven don't know eachother, and Mary knows Twyla even less
Reginald Tetra is a Doctor instead of a coffinmaker
Mary has allegedly been a very very long time in the hospital
And obviously both games can't be in the same universe
What could be the answer?
Different universes, with different events, different outcomes, and a different Mary for Reginald to have another chance with
But... How can Reginald be the same between universes?
Let's get the most important point in:
The eyentity(current name for whatever Reginald made a deal with)
Basically, as shown in Blackout Hospital, Reginald has a deal with said entity, and, based on my deductions taking into account what the games have revealed, whatever deal Reginald made, granted him one possible thing, Quantum Immortality
What's Quantum Immortality?
As defined by a quick search "Quantum immortality is a thought experiment from quantum physics' Many-Worlds Interpretation (MWI) suggesting your consciousness never experiences death because it always follows a timeline where you survive any quantum-triggered life-or-death event, even as others die in parallel worlds, leading to an endless, subjectively immortal existence in increasingly improbable realities"
Now, this alredy sounds difficult enough, but, by definition, this isn't enough, it would mean anyone who was akredy dead would stay like that, and atleast Theodore looks pretty alive in Blackout Hospital, doesn't he?
Then, the deal with the eyentity would give him a... "special" kind of Quantum Immortality where he would end up not to a different version of his reality, but to a completely different one entirely, with completely different versions of the people he alredy knew, but above all, a different Mary
What could have caused him to make a deal with the eyentity and why is he so obsessed with Mary?
For this one, let's start to try and make a... Reginald Chronology
We would then start here
In HFSH, Reginald Tetra is almost completely different
He's younger, seemingly more calm, a completely innocent sweetheart who doesn't seem to be able to kill someone, and Mary Anta's BOYFRIEND
Basically, this would be the start point, Reginald before ever making any deal, he's happy with Mary as his Girlfriend and has no real reason to ever become like in any of the other games
Then what happened?
My theory is that maybe in this reality(Probably Reginald's original reality) something happened to Mary, something that would leave Reginald so horribly heartbroken that he would go as far as to make a deal with an entity of unknown powers just in exchange of getting to be back with Mary
The problem?
As shown in Blackout Hospital's secret ending, the eyentity would have most likely not only give Reginald said ability, but basically condemn him to repeat in basically a cycle indefinitely until Reginald DOES manage to get back with Mary(IDK how to explain this better)
Basically the Reginald Chronology would go like this:
•Here For SweetHearts(Young Reggie)
•Cemetery Mary(Start of killer Reggie)
•Blackout Hospital(Reggie's breakdown and desesperation)
•My Wishmaker(The final piece to explain all about Reginald Tetra and his reason to be)
And another funny point, Reginald's arm Crowven is said to have cut with an axe in My Wishmaker is the same one that Rune's whatever-that-is was shown to have pulled Reginald by
But IDK dude, it's just a silly little theory, probably I'm just overthinking...
If the main 6 were mlp characters who would they be?
ohhhh this is interesting because it implies like they would fill the role of said character…hmm HMMMMM..I feel like for ease right now I'll just default to Mane 6 (haha) connections.
Mary - Fluttershy. Insecure
Reginald - Rarity. Big on personal grooming
Vasilis & Twyla - Twilight Sparkle or Applejack. Honestly it could go either way depending on the day
