Ezma my divination wizard who I just got to play for the first time today ✨
it was hard NOT to hear the upset of Bonely's pets, Lucious and Ezma, particularly if you had good hearing along the same level as Yuki's acute hearing. She made her way down to where their dens were, and gave an inquisitive trill to get their attention.
Normally the two serpents kept to the main den, leaving through their specific chosen exits to drive away any potential intruders. This time, however, neither arose out of the dens and only the glow of Lucious blind eyes and runes could be seen as he shifted inside the den so that he could hear and hiss threateningly from the back of both tunnels. It seems he wasn’t going to come out and scold the young half-demon for intruding on their territory again.

5. Ezma and Kronk from The Emperor’s New Groove
Ok, cheating a bit since it falls apart at the end - but come on! These guys are brilliant! They’re quick, hilarious, and an absolute delight together.
4. Jaskier and Geralt from The Witcher
It’s cute - I like duos with extreme differences and yet do truly care each other. The hilarity of Jaskier’s carefree adorkably selfish nature smashing up against Geralt’s more aloof and jaded attitude is always a treat.
3. Dirk Gently and Todd Brotzman from Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency
The glee! The Bromance! The absolute trust and chaos they bring! The utter confusion! Technically this becomes a trio (sort of quad-squad as well) with Amanda and Farah, but these guys are what made the show a binge for me.
2. Crowley and Aziraphale from Good Omens
What can I say except thousands of years of pining and mutual rule-breaking and wonderful chemistry? Also, one’s an angel and the other’s a demon.
1. Bodie and Doyle from The Professionals
These guys are the reason I fell in love with buddy-shows. They’ve got it all - banter, protectiveness, chemistry, and the flint and spark dynamic! Was this list just an excuse for me to put them at the top? Yes, yes it was, but my God, they deserve the spot. Without them, this show wouldn’t have endured for over forty years and they bring me the same joy they did when I was thirteen.
