in which she's given up on making her parents happy. she's found that it's easier to make herself successful than to find a partner, which is saying a lot considering she's a woman of color. still, there's a hollowness deep inside her that shooting ranges and intense stories to report on can't fill. maybe, just maybe, she should try getting out more...
