There’s no doubt that Kailee Morgue is a swiftly ascending pop star. Even her debut single Medusa was an immediate smash hit, having drummed up endless buzz long before the pop songstress revealed the whole track. The Arizona born artist’s strong following continued to grow with the release of Discovery and Unfortunate Soul, which culminated in the arrival of her debut EP, also named Medusa. Morgue also appeared on one of Bearson’s huge collaborations as of late, and now she’s back with new single F**k U, a slow burning pop lullaby whose contemplative guitar strums takes her in an alt direction. Though gently melancholic, F**k U hides a cool bite and some soft mettle. Morgue will be making her headline debut in new York at Baby’s All Right on May 17th.
