1982 f1 wags holding their drivers helmet
So - new favourite fun fact. Here are two versions of what happened during the driver strike in ‘82:
According to Mr Nigel Roebuck Bruno Giacomelli entertained the drivers with “a lecture on the finer points of Italian terrorism.”
According to Mr Gerald Donaldson Bruno Giacomelli “drew cartoons”.
Two pretty different things, right? So, who is wrong? Nobody.
According to eye witness David Warwick, one of his best memories of the night is ‘Bruno Giacomelli standing up with a chart and dissecting an AK47 machine gun. He drew these magnificent drawings of how to take the gun to bits and so on. It was very, very funny.’
