but did he get the tattoo??? 🧐
Still see a lot of hate on Fernando Alonso returning... Especially because people think it harms the chances of younger upcoming drivers.
But you guys have to realize that a lot of good young drivers are still depending on how this season goes to make sure have enough superlicence points to drive in the F1!
It’s not odd that teams are not taking that chance, especially not with how crazy this year is.
If I’m correct there are only 3 F2 who have enough points for next year right now.
- Marcus Armstrong
- Robert Shwartzman
- Luca Ghiotto
Only Ghiotto has driven one test for Williams but that was back in 2017, who now allow Aitken to test. Shwartzman and Armstrong are both Ferrari academy drivers and Ferrari is going all in on Charles at the moment. So I don’t see either of the three drive in the F1 next year..
Maybe in 2022 when other talented youngsters have enough points they’ll make the switch, look at Aitken or Zhou but for both it really depends on how the season is going.
So why don’t we enjoy the return of a champion, the youngsters that are currently driving f1 and the rest of the season for now :)
