Ferrari's tribute to the victims of the September 11th terrorist attacks. All sponsors were removed and they painted the nose cone black as a sign of respect.

The 2001 Italian Grand Prix was the first race after the attacks.

Jaguar and Jordan ran similar tributes throughout the race weekend.
