F2F ➝ ( ARDAHLIA. )
Naturally, Dahlia had been feeling guilty ever since her birthday. Firstly, there was Marie, and while Marie was not her girlfriend, she was...someone to her. Realistically, Dahlia should not be kissing other people, even chaste pecks on the lips to display her gratitude, and especially not when those other people were Arden. Too much history, too much...something. So, maybe Dahlia was overcompensating a little bit with Marie this weekend in an effort to quell her own guilt—an effort that totally was not working.
Tangled up with the other girl, Dahlia seated in her lap, that guilt only rose tenfold as she pulled back from a kiss to the sight of Arden in the background. Arden, the ‘secondly’ in this situation... Excusing herself from Marie with the promise that she’d be back in just a second, she made her way toward Arden, mostly just wanting to gauge the reception. “Uh, hey,” Dahlia tried in the most casual, friendly tone she could muster. “That’s...” She motioned over her shoulder toward Marie, before quickly shaking her head. “You know. Um, I’m so glad you’re here, though.” Dahlia pushed a smile to her lips, nerves displayed on her face regardless. “Are you having fun?”
