“Wanna hear a ghost story?” Arlo asked, taking a seat on the steps of Brittany Hall. He wasn’t quite sure why he and Eury were there together, but any chance he got to tell a tall tale and make someone laugh he’d take. The night was dark, the storms were rolling and it was the perfect setting to show off his Google search knowledge. “So listen, before this was a school for humans, it was a hotel for humans built in 1929. An eight year old girl named Molly, unrelated to the drug I hear about, apparently fell down the elevator shaft during the construction of the building and now haunts it. I don’t know why she was in there during construction, but she must have been pretty dumb and angry because now she haunts it.” Arlo took a big gulp, looking around suspiciously. He wasn’t sure how he felt about ghosts, but he wasn’t too keen on being haunted by one. “Another time, this building manager person got scared by a chair. It didn’t belong to the residence, so he turned and ran away out of FEAR.” He jumped at Eury on the last word, holding up his hands in a scary motion. “There’s also been hella scary noises.” Arlo tried his hand at using the slang that the gang had been teaching him. He figured he did alright and turned back to Eurydice. “Wanna hear more?”
