Suna quickly swiped out of conversation when he heard the door swing open to yns room. He looked up and saw yn standing at the door, holding water in one hand, and a bowl of popcorn in the other.
Yn quickly kicked the door of her room shut and sat next to him on the bed, but not too closely to where they would have to touch. Suna internally rolled his eyes.
“Sorry I didn’t mean to take so long, Noya was blocking me from using the microwave.” She laughed. He put on a smile, and replied. “Nah it’s fine, don’t worry about it.”
Her eyes drifted down to his lips, but didn’t let herself look for longer than a second, she quickly recollected her self and cleared her throat. “So, what should we watch next?”
Suna interlocked his hands behind his head and lied his head down on her fluffy pillow. “I don’t know.” Her turned his head to look at her. “Sharknado is pretty hard to beat.”
Yn playfully rolled her eyes and picked up the remote, scrolling through their options of what to pick next.
Suna watched her as she played with the buttons on the remote, how her eyebrows scrunched when she saw a movie she didn’t like, and how her eyes softened at a dog movie.
She took notice of his quietness-and staring-and turned to look at him. “What?” She raised an eyebrow.
“You’re really pretty.” Left his mouth before he even realized he thought it. He was more than thankful no one else was there to hear him say that. Not that he regretted it though, he knew it was true.
Yns face got pink and she froze for a second, and then quickly grabbed one of her many pillows and smacked him with it. “Stop being so corny.”
Suna laughed, and put his arms up in front of his face to brace for impact. “Well, sorry.” He grabbed the pillow from her, and used it to his advantage to pull her closer. “I guess I’ll just shut up and die.”
Yn yelped as the action pulled her towards him, she was practically laying on his chest, their noses almost touching. She held her breath. Suna smiled at her.
“What are you doing?” Yn whispered, even though she had no reason to. Sunas smile never faltered, he was giving her another one of his annoyingly genuine smiles. The kind that made her stomach feel funny.
“What do you think?” He said, removing his grip from the pillow, and raised a hand to push the falling hair behind her ear, somehow her face felt even more hot than before. “I want you to guess.”
“In your fucking dreams.” Suna just laughed at that. Before he could even think to lean in, she pulled away, and scooted back to her side of the bed.
Suna stayed in his position on his back, staring at the ceiling, trying his best to not let out a groan of disappointment. “Nice try.” She said, focusing her attention back on the tv. “But you’re gonna have to do better than that.”
He sat back up, watching her. “I don’t know, I feel like I was pretty close.” He smirked.
“You caught me off guard.” She quickly spat back. “I bet you do that trick to all your little girl friends.”
“You jealous?” She glared at him. “You wish.”
