OH OKAY HOLY MOTHER OF FUCKING GOD okayI want Louis as my brother cause we would argue and have fun and i would make him soup when he was sick and we would be ride or die like we might bicker but we would kill for each other cause we're both really loyal plus we would have had so much fun playing pretend and stuff when we were little, i think our favourites would have been pirates and royal stuff, we would be knights and dukes and i would let him be the dragon sometimes.Zayn will be my best friend because then we can go to pretentious art stuff and nod along like we gave a fuck about peoples opinions and we could laugh about it when they walked away and basically we would do a bunch of dumb hipster stuff like go to fucking vintage music shops and bookstores and WE WOULD HAVE THE GRANDEST TIME

and then I would marry Liam. Because despite his problematic comments the other day, I think that Liam is genuinely kind hearted. He's brave and he's strong, emotionally and physically. I'd marry Liam because I think that he would love with his whole heart. He'd be a good dad to our kids, and he wouldn't take me for granted. I'd marry liam because we could carol on the holidays and live out by the sea, and I think that he would make me feel safe, and more than anything I would marry liam because he would make me laugh. I would marry liam, because I think that we're both the sort to see things through. I'd marry Liam, because he'd be like all three combined. I wouldn't be scared to be who I am, to become the best person that I could be.

it's interesting to see how offended people get on behalf of the boys because, it's like, this kind of questioning and interviewing has been going on with women since their entrance into entertainment industry.

and i know this fact has been brought up a lot, but it really is interesting. because i can't tell if people (we're, if i'm being honest, because i do get offended for them, as well) are getting offended because they're seeing their idols put in a bad spot, a bad light or asked questions that clearly are inappropriate and have nothing to with their profession and make them uncomfortable, or.

or if it's because we see that happening to women and know it happens and it makes us even more angry when all that crosses over to the boys, to males.

does that make sense? like for example around the time where the avengers was a getting a lot of promo and going to comic con and stuff, there was that scarlett johansson gifset where like robert downey jr. would be asked these deep, philosophical questions about his character and his job in the entertainment industry, and then it would pan to scarlett and they would ask her what diet she did to fit into the costume or whether she wore underwear or whatever. and it kind of showed the deep division and sexism within the entertainment industry, more specifically, interviews and interviewers.

so what i'm pondering is: are we getting upset because we want our idols to be happy and comfortable always, or are we getting upset because we understand, we know that this type of interviewing is unfair and should not be pushed on our boys—and by extension, on males? because it's already so prevalent with females in the industry?

i'm sure it's a combination of both, but it's just. that interview that came out that has everyone enraged at the moment made me think. i don't know.
