A laptop is rested on his legs, he doesn't mind the extra weight, it's kind of soothing actually. The tap to his knee had him looking up and then thinking over Jay's words.
It was true, things had been... he wasn't saying the q word, never say the q word. But Jay was right, nothing had happened and Tim was unfortunately struggling with making a new transporter that would allow Jay the option of going home. He hated being the one to unintentionally take the choice away. Everyone deserved a choice.
But Jay didn't seem all that concerned about going home...
"If that's what you want, I won't stop you." Tim slowly replied. "I think you're pretty cool and everyone here likes you. Are you absolutely sure, though?"
