Felix looked over at Emi, catching the wicked grin on her face. Nick had dragged them out to a bar to hang out with his latest fling, and Emi had been irritated from the moment they left their apartment. She wasn’t impressed with the attitude of Nick’s date, and Felix wasn’t sure, but he thought there might be some kind of a back story there. Emi was taking out her annoyance with the entire situation by upsetting things as much as possible between Nick and the guy (Was it Jason? Jackson?). So far, she had ‘forgotten’ her wallet at home so Nick had to pay for the cab and pick up the tab at the bar, over-salted Nick’s fries when his back was turned, and dumped the J-dude’s drink into his lap.

Nick was busy wiping at the guy’s crotch with a handful of napkins, and he didn’t hear Emi’s words. Felix knew his shouldn’t be encouraging her, but he found the situation hilarious. It was only a week before that he and Nick had gone to bed together, and now he was making him hang out with this guy he was seeing. He was too nice to say or do anything about it, but he felt like Emi was getting enough revenge for the both of them. Leaning over to Emi, he muttered to her. “Me too.” Flashing her a thumbs up, he hoped that J-dude would end up going home alone and not with Nick.
