hi another "your food is dirty as shit" psa from your resident grocery store produce stocker.
your food is dirty as shit.
nothing has been washed. berries especially havent been washed because they go bad once they are. everything has dirt on it. if it survives being dropped on the floor, it goes back. kids bite apples and parents put them back. most people lick their fingers to open plastic bags before browsing the produce. its safe to assume that hundreds of people walking through the store have not washed their hands since the last time they ate, sneezed, or peed. customers love to put items where they don't belong, from ice cream on the blueberries to raw chicken on the potatoes.
everything is contaminated. wash your goddamn produce.
one of my gay irl coworkers is drinking the nazi juice it literally is such a pervasive problem in the queer community. i know it is so so tempting to find somebody else to point fingers at when society hates you but you CANNOT go blaming everything on [whatever euphemism youre currently using for jews]. its gross, its inappropriate, and youre not helping anyone.
chat do we think i should invest in gloves
