like we all know Fable has pretty epic moments but guess what I'm rewatching moonlit snow and:

Back again- fable characters ranked on how much they’d freak out a child from the Middle Ages

1 - Aax

Fish man, gay, 2 boyfriends?? The child would just fall over and die

2 - Wolf

Wolf man, gay, at least one boyfriend, might be more soon- plus occasionally transforms? Same situation as Aax, the child would just poof

3 - Rae

Gay librarian man with long hair? Half of him is purple? He’s got a freaky eye AND horns? The child’s not having it

4 - Jamie

Talking bear? In this economy? Absolutely not. Child is gone

5 - Athena

Just an anomaly to this child. Probably would think they’re a ghost. Child is not having it

6 - Sherbert/Icarus

Wings? They/them pronouns? Bleeding eye? Probably haunted by something? Child’s not doing well

6 - Caspian

Gay man with 2 boyfriends??? What sorcery is this??? Child not vibing

7 - Centross

Gay man but also like… looks like he’s been consorting with spirits (he has). Child does not approve

8 - Ocie

Fins? Breathing underwater? What sorcery is this??? Child does not like water

9 - Momboo

Honestly child would think she’s crazy but probably not be freaked out. Looks like a normal person. No one tell them about momboo and Sherbert

Rae’s got a sort of wreath of orchids, and Aax has cave style with tally marked “4” or “IIII” all behind him! The sillies!!

Random thing that came to mind recently is how much I love the scene where Rae is coming home from Morningstar castle and Caspian runs down to hug and kiss Rae while Aax is just there for a moment, almost frozen with surprise, before running down and going “me too me too me too!”

Just the absolute adoration Metta was able to convey with that was so great. I love the silly little olm guy-
