so ive been thinking about getting a facial mist for midday pick-me-ups, and ive heard good things about the innisfree mists. i saw you recommended the olive oil one, do you like any of the others? or any from a different brand that youd suggest?

Face Mist Recommendations

The Green Tea one by Innisfree is SUPER popular, more so than the Olive. I just prefer the Olive because it’s somewhat oily. All of their mists are really good.

The KBeauty world has so many great mists, as its more of the culture over there to use them for skin care benefit instead of makeup setting. The Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence Mist would be one of my top recommendations. The skin care benefit is priority with their fermented ingredients, but the mist is also very fine and lightweight.

I also liked the Mario Badescu Rosewater mist. It wasn’t mind-blowing, but I think it would be good for what you’re looking for. The smell is really nice.

Any of the thermal water sprays (ex. Avene, Caudalie, La-Roche Posay) are great. My favorite is the Caudalie Grape Water.

Speaking of Caudalie, their Beauty Elixir is very popular, but I would pass if you’re dry or sensitive skinned, because its a bit astringent. Perfect for oilier skins, though.

Pixi by Petra mists are also fantastic (moisturizing and one of them has SPF 😎 ).

are there any refreshing facial mists u would recommend? i've been putting setting spray on my face throughout the day to keep myself looking hydrating but i realized that's kind of not a good idea since it's like. setting spray. thank you so much for this blog btw dude it's helped me so much

I think setting spray is a very broad term and that not all setting sprays act in the same way. So really, the setting spray you’re using currently could be just fine.

However, if you’re looking for something more nourishing, go for a mist with oil in it. When you spray a solely water based mist on your face, the water can actually dry out your skin unless you dab off the excess. Oil prevents that water loss without the need for dabbing.
