Secondly, literally every single US account can send and/or receive money, even accounts that absolutely do not have any sort of funding source linked to them at all. (*Exception: minors are excluded from being able to send or be sent funds -thus also making their accounts “Unsecured” by Carlos’ rule*), whether the recipient has a linked Debit card or not, The recipient has to link a Debit card to collect the funds, however.
