I agree. I didn’t get a chance to reply earlier. I think he’s a rapist in either case. When I said, I liked him in the comics, I didn’t mean to suggest that I admired him or excused his behavior, but I think he made a great villain. IMO very little of what makes Negan an interesting villain is coming through on TV. I think there are moments, where he can be menacing, but most of the time I find him OTT ridiculous and boring. I’d be happy if they just veered away from the comics and killed him off personally.

I think that scene with the harem women and Eugene is as much as we will get. And that was way more spelling it out than the comics. It was better than I expected actually
That actually was a really good scene. But I would like to see it discussed a bit in interviews because a lot of the fandom is not getting the point. This would be a really good time to clarify.
