This is a story how facepants were born... It all started one Christmas Eve. Me and Mants met at the same place where we were to celebrate the evening. After a few drinks we went to have a cigarette on the balcony. A few minutes later, the balcony became empty leaving us left. Mants asked me how my business is doing in London. And I said that it is boring so I decided to close it, because I wanted to feel motivated, which the furniture business never gave me. He shared an idea with me to make trousers. I was a little thrown back by the idea of trousers and that it is interesting to him. This balcony conversation was the seed for Mants & Johnny Company. While sitting at my desk busy with something, I had this flash of a name Mants and Johnny. I immediately stopped what I was doing and phoned Mants to tell him the name and ask what he thinks. He said in three words: I love it! That was the final step when we agreed we will start business together and make trousers. But still, the idea to make exceptionally designed trousers wasn't full, me and him felt that we need to add some flavour to it. So we left it for a few weeks, just to think what we could find to add. My phone rang, it was Mants, he said we need to think about social sites, somehow we could make something with facebook or twitter. We brainstormed a lot that evening, but couldn't find answers. We decide to take some time and realised the answer will come by itself. It was an Easter when me and my family were dying eggs (A tradition) after that I went downstairs to my private gym, where I did a few exercises. After that I washed my trousers and t-shirt. When I took them out they were blue as a sky, because I forgot the bag of blue dye in my pocket. I was upset, my lovely white pants were ruined. I threw them into a bin and went out. While I was driving the answer came, so straight way I called Mants to come quickly as possible. We met at my house and I said what do you think, he didn't need an explanation, he just said this is what we was dreaming about.
