Whenever someone mentions chatgpt my spite towards it and the need to write my own stories becomes stronger

So this is how my last two days have been going:

I can’t login to my Instagram account.

Its not like I can’t change my password or forgot it; hell I know my email/phone number/and username plus password. It just won’t let me in.

Instagram is supposed to send you a SMS text message security code and when it did (we’ll come back to this) I would punch in the code and it would say “something went wrong, please check the code and try again”. To which, I did; and it still wouldn’t work. I did this multiple times and even waited two hours before trying again

Eventually I stopped getting the texts and emails to help me login (told you we’d come back)

To make matters worse; when you set up two step authentication; apparently they give you a backup code to use…. Which either I never got or maybe never wrote down (which is more likely..)

So for the time being I’m stuck out of my Instagram account; I’ve already gone through my stages of grief with this (cried a bunch the first day but it was also bc of family stress and Instagram was the tipping point) and I’m at the reluctant-acceptance stage. If I lose this account it’s not the end of the world but I’m not happy about it.

Its not like I lost my PC or iPad with all my work on it; It’s one social media account and I have others.

But yeah, I’ll be pretty much dead on my Instagram for a while if you follow me there

TD:DR/ I’m “locked” out of my Instagram account bc Instagram won’t send me the SMS security codes or emails.
