I realized I REALLY don't know how to socialize with social people ._.
Like, with shy people is easier because I feel emphatic. I feel like I'm "less shy" than them, so it's easier for me to talk to them.
However, when social people approach me, I panic internally, because I try TOO HARD to seem social, easygoing, and not awkward at all.
Well...
Some days ago I let a random girl borrow my computer for a while, as she had a programming test and wanted to practice a bit. After that, she thanked me twice and gave me a candy to show how glad she was I helped her out. I happily accepted and that was it. She seemed like a pretty nice girl, but I wasn't ready to keep interacting with her after that due to my own awkwardness.
Today she came to my seat asking how I studied for algebra, since she saw my grades (which are public for the whole class to see some reason and I really hate that ;-;) and though they were far from good (tbh, this year's been awful for me 😭), they weren't THAT BAD. And she asked me if she could join me the next time I studied.
Tbh, I don't understand the subject myself, but accepted anyway.
Later today, during a break, she came to me again to have a small talk of the current subject we were learning in chemistry and how interesting and not-difficult was so far.
So I realized, this girl has some interest in staying in contact with me. At least to some degree. And I don't know how to reciprocate to since I feel it'd be awkward if I was the one who approached her, since she has a group friend while I'm more of a quiet one most of the time (the reason I started hanging out with the other quiet kid of the class xd)
But yeh, she seems nice, but idk what to even do ;-;
