It’s just so refreshing to watch since I feel many shows build their “romantic” couples on pain and anxiety. On dark pasts and so on.

And here while Awu and Qiao Xi were a marriage of convenience first it was lovely to see them grow as a team and then as people who are in love.

I might rewatch the drama if I find time.

so you are sort of correct that fluff is not generally my thing. so i don’t promise that all of these are in the fluff category, because i’m not entirely sure i understand what constitutes fluff? but all these fics are, i think, light on angst (or if there’s angst present they are balanced with excellent humor). i hope you enjoy!!
