Most people see my profile and think “𝐈𝐬 𝐡𝐞 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫?
The truth is simpler and heavier.
I’ve been going through one of the hardest phases of my life. Mentally drained. Emotionally exhausted. Depression creeping in. Feeling completely alone… like no one was there to listen.
Problems kept piling up. Pressure kept increasing. And at some point, I felt lost.
Then one night, a verse from the Qur’an came to my heart:
𝐐𝐮𝐫’𝐚𝐧 𝟗𝟑:𝟑
That verse stopped me.
It reminded me that even when people walk away… Even when the world feels silent… Allah never leaves.
So that night, instead of overthinking, I turned back to Allah. I asked for forgiveness. I talked to Him honestly, quietly, broken.
And something changed.
For the first time in days, I didn’t feel alone. The heaviness in my chest eased. The depression softened.
Then another verse echoed in my heart:
𝐐𝐮𝐫’𝐚𝐧 𝟗𝟒:𝟔
Not after hardship. 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 hardship.
That was enough to help me stand up again. Enough to return to my field. Enough to keep moving.
This post isn’t about religion vs profession. It’s about survival.
Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is pause… and talk to Allah.
Because when you make a habit of talking to Allah, you are never truly alone.
