Warframe Concept
Vermin: the Rat King
Ability 1: Summon: 25 energy
Call forth a specter companion rat (or whatever name they'll get like dog=kubrow and cat=kavat). They are much larger than say Nidus's maggots but noticeably smaller than kavats. Leveling the move increases the max number of rats and increases their Max life, armor, and damage from attacks. Rats periodically do a staggering(impact proc) leap attack. They do not engage an enemy unless you're in combat with them. Rat life and armor are affected by Vermin's max life and armor. Rats generate aggro very slowly and poorly.
Duration increases rat health and decreases the cooldown for their leap attack
Strength increases rat damage and health and armor
Range has no effect.
Ability 2: Scavenger: 50 energy then energy/second
Toggle a buff that grants a flat melee crit chance for you and all your rats. This allows rats to crit. During the buff, any melee kills your or rats do have a high chance to drop a health orb, a mid chance for an energy orb, and a low chance for an affinity orb. All three can drop from one enemy.
Duration decreases cost over time
Strength increases crit and drop chance
Range has no effect
Ability 3: Swarm: 50 energy
A swath of smaller rats pours from Vermin in a circle aoe around his location. This swarm persists. Enemies caught in it are damaged and given a debuff. The debuff slows significantly and any enemy then hit by your rat summon grants Vermin shields and armor for a duration. Pick ups and enemies are whirlpooled towards the middle of the circle. Rats will prioritize attacking enemies with the debuff.
Duration increases swarm duration, debuff duration, and armor duration
Strength increases damage, slow percent, and shields/armor gain
Range increases size is swarm
Ability 4: The King of Rats: 100 energy
Rats reflect damage they would take to in a spherical aoe while also drawing aggro from enemies. They gain a new attack and run and attack at much greater speeds. The new attack is a dash that always procs a heavy bleed dot. This ability also replaces their stun leap with a knock down leap that inflicts bleed.
Duration increases buff duration
Strength increases reflect percent and rat damage
Range increases rat dash distance
Passive: Survivalist
In combat, Vermin's survival instincts kick in and he reflexively blocks melee attacks with his tail, parrying them and leaving the attacker vulnerable to finisher attacks. This has a cooldown of a few seconds and inherits mods from his melee weapon.
