Tear You Apart by Fakoshima
Why is it so good and sooo expensive!
This is another one of those cases in which picking up particular notes is a bit problematic but it smells like expensive good alcohol minus the actual spirits part (I'm unfortunately too good at picking those up wherever they appear) and warm spices. Don't think I'm such an expert in fancy liqueur, but my father is and I like smelling his drinks and this reminds me of port wine, even though the pyramid says "rum" but again - a lot of other things that are difficult to separate. With time gets a bit tamer and a bit more spices than alcohol.
When I tried it the first time on a blotter I felt a quite lot of tobacco which was somewhat absent this time - maybe that's how the weather/my mood or my skin effects it.
It stayed on me for a long time and I know that several people felt it of me without me putting my wrist to their nose.
Suffice to say I loved it, even if I still love "El Primer Deseo" a bit more.
P.S. yes, it is pretty damn sexy, if you were wondering - yes the title is about that.

Two brands for today - same country, completely different price ranges:
Tear You Apart by Fakoshima - wanted to try this on for a long time (since I first heard it actually), did so and will write a separate post. Safe to say I loved it.
Crème de la Crème by Fakoshima - this was advertised to me as sweet and mainly tuberose fragrance, but I didn't really feel it as such. It was was sweet at the start but more fruity sweet - probably apricots but then it settled down into something soft and as fragrantica likes to say "aromatic" - something just a tiny bit bitter, maybe somewhat woody (deduction suggests that must be sandalwood and cade oil). Would probably try again, maybe in different weather - curious about the tuberose.
Moonlight Rainbow by Fakoshima - same here - felt it so differently than most people say it's supposed to smell. So this is an iris themed perfume - pure iris, no carrots or insects or anything. But I felt pear here. Pear! And it's there, but amongst the least heard notes here. And the funny thing is I kept feeling it for a while. The dry-out is soft and slightly sweet and I can probably guess vetiver here. Also will return to it.
Princess Swan by Brocard - returning to this one, because last time I only listened to it very briefly. The opening is very fresh with some sweet citruses, but it becomes sweet and very simple, pretty fast. Not sure about the powder It's alright, but I'm not sure I want it/want to try it again.
Black Swan by Brocard - this one however seems interesting. The opening is strong and woody with just a bit of nut sweetness and it remained like that for a while and then flowers come out with the strong rose accord. The dry-out is fresh and it feels like I can still hear the rose there, but maybe I'm imagining it.
Lilac After The Rain by Brocard - exactly what it says - very realistic lilac, sweet with just a tiny bit of bitterness and it remains so throughout the whole time. For its money is incredible.
Malachite Flower by Brocard - already wrote about this one, but wanted to say that it somehow turned to me with its lily-of-the-valley side, instead of hyacinth which I think is interesting.
Alright, as promised, "review" of
El Primer Deseo by Fakoshima
(didn't take a picture at the store, so here's one from the website)
For starters - it's so good.
I heard it and at very first moment I thought I wouldn't like it - too bitter, but I did get hooked immediately because the next moment I realized it was the good kind of bitter. It is indeed as spicy as it's said to be. Oddly, I didn't feel almost any citrus, that are supposed to be at the top - I immediately felt spices and wood and maybe even a bit of wood smoke. The spices at the start almost aren't sweet at all - they're deep and a little tart. I came up to it probably three times before deciding to try it on my wrists.
So, on my skin it remained the same for a while but after about forty minutes it started becoming sweeter and warmer - the caramel at the bottom started showing itself - but it never became actually sweet (or gods forbid too sweet). After a while (several hours) when it started fading one of the last things that remained was leather - it felt like I was wearing a good quality hand made leather bracelet and its smell clang to my wrist - it was great and I had no clue how would leather in perfumery actually smell like (and how realistic could it be).
In conclusion, I actually hoped so much that none of their perfumes would be actually good, because they're so damn expensive - but this one (and "Tear You Apart" but I didn't try it on the skin) is so amazing and it's definitely worth the money.
