you'd think that knowing yourself would be something that'd just come naturally to everyone considering everyone is themselves, sorry this isn't really an ask it's just your recent posts really struck a chord with me, I've had identity issues for a few years now, nothing on the scale of what you've been dealing with but it still hit home with me, good luck figuring yourself out Nathan, love the name btw
Aw wow this is a great message, thank you!
And yeah, I mean.. for the longest time, I thought I knew exactly who I was, exactly what I would always be. But more and more I’m finding that it’s a long journey finding out just who you are. And even now there’s still so many things I’m trying to discover about myself.
The biggest thing I’ve learned to accept is that it’s never too late to try to figure out who you are and if you feel like you can’t quite figure it out right now, then that’s okay. There’s no time limit. It isn’t a race. What’s most important is you just accept that you’ll always be growing, changing (sometimes more dramatically than others), and just learn that it’s okay to keep trying to find yourself.
I also wish you all the best in figuring yourself out. It’s a rough journey but so long as you’re trying to be truest to yourself, everything will work out in the end I think
