ohhhh tbh i'm not very good at these lol...

well, there are some obvious ones: daniil is a snake, artemy is a bear, patches is a hyena. personally for clara i think of like, a stoat. alfred is definitely some kind of dog, but not like a family dog, more of a working dog.

and that's kinda all i got off the top of my head! i'd love to give it more thought, because i'd love to come up with something fitting for the silent hill crew...

Hi curious to hear What some of your favorite ps2 era horror games outside of the sh series are!! Or just like the general 90s/2000s gaming period!!

oooo now this is kind of difficult for me, you see, i wasn't actually raised with video games! my dad was fine with them (he used to stay up late playing wolfenstein and hitman when i was a kid) but my mom was one of those satanic panic parents who thought that video games would make me stupid and d&d would get me killed. so my introduction to video games was primarily edutainment.... and then one of my uncles got me a gameboy color and games for one of my birthdays :)

of those... i liked playing loz oracle of ages/oracle of seasons, though i didn't totally understand at the time what i was doing. i played pkmn yellow & sapphire - though i never beat them (i got to the last of the elite four but never managed to actually beat the last one!)

i also used to spend hours playing the sims 2 and was really into the gbc version of bustin' out and the urbz. the first game i remember playing on the ps2 - which my dad got refurbished sometime in the early 2000s, making it something like 20 years old today and still kickin - was actually spyro: year of the dragon. i loveeeee spyro. i had some of the gba spyro games, though i found them more difficult to maneuver and to see. i also do really enjoy the reignited trilogy, though there's nothing quite like the charm of the original!

sadly, i lost most of the gbc games i had. i accidentally left my gbc and games on a plane :(

i will say, though, that i've watched a let's play of haunting ground and i love the idea of it, though it's not a game i could play myself as i do not do well with unscripted chase sequences. i've also always wanted to get into fatal frame and i've watched a video on fromsoft's ku-on, and i think they'd be interesting to play. oh! and rule of rose - though i expect i'll be emulating that.

also shout out to sly cooper, a game i did not play until i was in college. i watched my gf play the first two and played the third myself. too bad they fumbled the fourth so terribly!

this could describe a lot of ships, mos to fthem for fandoms i'm no longer into. a lot of ships within my current fandoms i can at least see the appeal even if it's Not For Me, or there are ships that i was okay with but have lost interest in for some reason or another. but out of current fandoms i'm into, i'd have to say it's probably bloody crow/alfred hunter of vilebloods.

D - A pairing you wish you liked but just can’t.

harry/cooper. i see the appeal, i know what people like about them, but i simply have not been able to get all that invested. i'm more of an albert/cooper kinda moth...

F - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom?

hmmm well if we're talking about as an active participant in the fandom, then it's probably pathologic at 6 years. if we're including time spent lurking then it's silent hill at...uh... 16-ish years.

I - Has Tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why?

tumblr alone has not been the reason i've disliked any fandom, but it has been a contributing factor to me leaving both danganronpa and jjba as fandoms. for danganronpa, it was the transmisogyny and ableism; for jjba it was stalking and harassment and half the tags i liked getting nuked by staff and being gone for years.

K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?

i'm won't waste time pretending anything has ever gotten me quite like daniil dankovsky's descent into madness.

M - Name a character that you’d like to have for a friend.

yulia lyuricheva. might be wishful thinking but imo we'd get each other.

oooooo i do love a good crossover! are we thinking silent hill characters in x-files universe, or x-files characters in silent hill universe, or perhaps silent hill itself is an x-file? that last one sounds pretty plausible.... i could see maybe frank sunderland going to mulder & scully trying to figure out what happened to his son & daughter-in-law...

Don’t have a weird oc question per se but what would your ocs favorite horror movie or creepypastas be??

i actually don't know many creepypastas, for some reason they completely skipped by me! so if you have any to recommend i will gladly take those :3c

anyway

chestnut - does not really like most horror but i think she'd like monster movies and cheer for the monster. being chestnut she'd be a big fan of mothra!

truant - really picky about what horror he likes but he's not sure what the pattern is. religious horror is hit or miss. in theory hates cults, but did enjoy the original wicker man when he watched it with frost. hates "elevated" horror. i would say his fave is probably 28 days later.

frost - will watch any kind of horror film, really. vampire films tend to make them kind of sad all things considered. favorite horror film probably changes from month to month but rn i'm leaning towards saying it's the original wicker man or the blood on satan's claw.

elias - likes classic horror and horror with sci-fi elements. modern horror doesn't really interest him but he'll watch it if you put it on. favorite is probably the creature from the black lagoon.
