I..
I fell out of love with you
I stopped all my words
I wrote no more
I had no motive
I lost my poetry

The time for Dandelions is over
No more dots of yellow on the side of the road
No length of green sprouting from the freshly dug earth
No bundle of happiness laying over sadness
Where you now rest
Thinking back, we had nothing to do with Dandelions
But somehow I associate them with you
And the times when you were with me
How are you? I'm wondering, again and again, when will I wonder for the last time?
Hollow Bones
I feel hollowed out, like a great big scoop has taken to my bones
And then disappeared, all my marrow with it
There are now spaces where spaces should not be
I can feel it with every step I walk and every breath I take
There's a lack of solidarity, an ever changing balance observed in the way I treck
Up stairs and past doors in well worn hallways
In sickness I have found comfort
And the love of friends who have not loved me in an age
I feel hollowed out
Hollowed out by life
Soft Breeze
A scent of the sea caresses me
Blonde hair acts up
As if ghostly fingers are running through strands of silk.
A scent of the sea released by water hitting garden soil
It smells like the Liffey
Near the lower docks.
Leaves in the trees sway slightly
And sweat runs down sunburnt skin
A body leans over a broom
To stop brushing at moss on a cracked drive way.
A soft Breeze travels across the land
Soothing many, touching many
Relieving me.
Buried within the moment
We sit and stare at words on a page
Ink blurred by tear drops
Smeared by careless hands
I sit lost as you wander beyond the words
And into my deepest thoughts
You bury yourself into my mind
And try to fix what cannot be fixed
I'm sorry but I'm broken
Toss me aside and be done with it
Hey
You know what?
Go fuck yourself,
Shove your sorry up
Where the sun don't shine
You've caused me
So much misery,
A sorry doesn't change it
You ain't no friend of mine.
