The force field surrounding Dathryk and his fellow Fallen deactivated. Dathryk opening his arms in victorious glee one of his lesser arms still holding the weak and flashing ghost. "Lightless! I asked for a show and a sho-". Without a word the Titan grabbed a blade on one of the dead war beast's back and stomped his metallic boot into the base of the blade, breaking it from its metal home. Dathryk quickly yanked his right arms close to his chest as a flash of movement from the Titan lead a blade flying straight for Dathryk's hand holding the ghost. Loud chatter and grunts were shared between the fallen around Dathryk as they readied their lances for the Titan.
Dathryk calmed his brothers with a loud boasting laugh. "A show indeed Lightless. Severing my hand will not get your ghost back to you. Not in one peice anyway." Dathryk scoffed as his upper arm flicked the blade embedded in the wall behind him. "Crank his shell one more time Dathryk." The Titan growled. "And your hand will only be the start." Dathryk laughed again, almost taunting The titan at this point. Dathryk would softly pat one of the fallen to his side. "See? Titans have so much fire. Give him a soft pat on the back for me." The fallen nodded to another vandal across from him and they jumped down to the arena. Suddenly and arrogantly thrusting a lance at the Titan. The Titan raised his armored forearm, letting the blade slide across the metal plate with little more than a scratch. With a sudden move the vandal found his lance in the Titan's grip, and with a yank, out of it's own. The Titan quickly spun the lance around letting the butt end hit the vandal across the helm and knocking him off his footing. The next vandal was mid thrust when the titan used his free arm to spin his elbow into the next vandal's head, the lance moving harmlessly under arm. The titan stood with his back now to Dathryk, his right hand hold a lance over a prone vandal and a staggered vandal catching his footing behind the Titans extended elbow. The titan turned around dropping the lance and placed his arms at his side. "Dathryk I'm not a slave for bets. I'm a better warrior than some of your own men it would seem." The Titan glanced at the vandals noticing the vandals on the ground were noticeably smaller than those closer to Dathryk. "I could easily take on every Fallen soldier in this base, with light or otherwise." The titan flared daggers at Dathryk, hoping his bluff wouldn't be tested.
Dathryk starred at the titan for a long moment, almost clicking the ghost's shell in subconscious thought to only catch himself with a smirk. "Fair, Lightless. I do hope you forgive my skepticism to your threat, though a threat I'm not willing to test. Your ghost will stay in my custody, but... will be treated with more care. Now back to your cage, Lightless."
The Titan glared at Dathryk for only a second before turning around and walking through the door he entered. The two vandals following him with Lance at the ready until he found himself inside a cage. Locked and trapped once again.
Dathryk glanced down at the ghost in his hand, a bit more lively after seeing its owner in action it would seem. He would wave off his men walking out of the arena's theater and wander down the halls. His clawed feet tapping the ground with each step upon the metallic surface all the while scratching questions to the ghost. "What is your guardian without his light?" The ghost's eye would blink and stare at the passing walls. Refusing to answer. "How did he use the light to fight?" "Did he ever hear the voice of the traveler?" The ghost still refused a response. Dathryk hissed annoyed. "Do you think the cabal will win this war? Win the Traveler?" The ghost's eye moved slightly, something catching the it's attention. "Oh you don't know do you little ghost? Where your light has gone? Where your city lies?" Arriving at his private quarters Dathryk would place the ghost in a fielded cage upon his rounded desk. "I will tell you all you'd like to know little ghost, but not before I get what I want." Dathryk sat down, his lower arms resting on his thighs while his upper elbows found rest upon his knees. His hand held his chin in intense curiosity. "So ghost." His voice scratched. "Tell me about your Lightless Guardian."
