Fallout 76 C.A.M.P

My little farmhouse so far, it ain’t much but I’m proud of it.

I’m not happy with the interior yet and I’m hoping to add a Brahmin pen and maybe other stuff, so I’ll do an update eventually.

76 base building

Ok so i learned a valuable lesson when it comes to base camps. Im gonna learn ya what happens when someone builds where you built on a different server:

The last 2 times ive logged in, ive seen people building on or really close to where i normally do and my home despawned. If this happens to you: Dont panic! Your stuff is still in your workshop under the 'Stored' tab. It automatically saves the blueprint and you can simply move and set everything up the way it was. You will have to replant your crops and water purifiers, but theyre still there too.

Here is why you shouldn't do what i did and make a big house: re-placing something huge is tremendous pain in the ass. Trees, rocks, shit in the way that you were able to build around initially will fuck you up later. Be aware of your surroundings and try to find the clearest place possible

There is an option to recover ALL the pieces you've already built without scrapping and wasting all those resources. Deleting the blueprint will store everything piecemeal separately under their respective tabs.

In my experience, it wasnt too much of a pain once i resolved that i wasnt gonna get my way and I said goodbye to my big house. My only lingering regret is that for whatever reason my generators, water purifier, and crops did not store separately when i scrapped the blueprint, so now I gotta build them from scratch again. Not the biggest deal, but it wouldve been nice to just throw them up without finding the components.

Now im rocking a tent, a campfire, all my workshops and an acoustic guitar gifted by my best friend and im much more confident in taking it along with me if i need it

 TL;DR: don't build big ass buildings in case someone builds over your spot. the blueprints automatically store in your CAMP and if you need to you can delete the blueprint and the pieces will be stored separately.
