Hi again! :) 

Her outfit is 3 main pieces - The bodysuit, the armwarmers, and the giant cape. 

We have posted about bodysuit patterning before: HERE. I would also check out leotard/dancewear patterns. The most difficult thing about THIS bodysuit is going to be the neck, so pick a pattern that has the neckline you need. :) PATTERNS Rufflebutt's Bodysuit Pattern

The armwarmers are easy. :) There are tons of tutorials for pieces like that: HERE HERE (For both of these you will need to edit the finger area, but that shouldn't be too much of a challenge. ) 

The Cape/Cloak is the moneymaker on this piece. You will have to do most of your work here as all the edges will have to be self patterned. :) I would probably go about this by making the front (short) and back (long) capes as separate pieces and attaching them later on. There are a lot of different cape patterns (just search at simplicity, burda, mccall, etc), but none will be exactly what you need.

Hi, I'm planning on cosplaying Nu-13 from BlazBlue but I'm having trouble figuring out how to make her giant weapon (Lux Sanctus: Murakumo). I'd also love to be able to split it into two pieces for transport. It'd be great if you could help.

W-wow! The first thing I would do is check out the prop rules for the con you’re going to to make sure that props that large are allowed in the con space! It definitely won’t be one you can walk around with! :D

I would probably split this into 3 pieces (some of which you may be able to break down further.)

Large Round Gear section

Blade

Since these are all large pieces, I would use magnets rather than screws so that you can attach each piece at more than one place. You’ll have to practice seeing how many you need. MAGNETS

For the actual build, WEIGHT is going to be very important. Stick with foam, cardboard, and paper as much as possible. Also determine HOW you will be holding the weapon. If it needs to be wieldable by the handle, you will need to make sure there is a solid inner structure so it doesn’t fall apart. 

This is a really big project so it’s hard to give advice without knowing what you do/don’t have a good grasp on so feel free to send more questions if you still need help!
