This fall I have challenged myself to try as many of the fall themed food/drink products available. I love holiday foods so why not post a little bit about them? Now, there are some fall themed products that I'm not really looking forward to trying, Caramel Apple Oreos being one of them, but I'll do my best to bring reviews of these fall products to the public! One disclaimer... I don't like coffee (go ahead, sue me). Feel free to message me with some ideas or suggestions, I will keep my blog as updated as possible! Let the Flavors of Fall begin! 1. Count Chocula- This breakfast cereal is a classic, and for good reason! The original is one of my favorite cereals, perfect marshmallow to dry cereal ratio and tons of chocolate. I have also recently had the Strawberry and Blueberry versions. Both are delicious and flavor the milk just as much as the original chocolate type. It isn't everyday that you get an artificially flavored fruit cereal, take advantage of it! 2. Pumpkin Spiced MnM's- I went into this thinking it would have wayyy too much pumpkin (MnM's have a way of over flavoring with the special editions). I was pleasantly surprised with this product! Just enough pumpkin to spice it up a little bit, but it doesn't overpower the chocolate. Perfect if you want something with a little fall-kick without the obnoxious fall after taste. 3. Candy Corn MnM's- Pass. I tried them on two different occasions and disliked them both times, and I LOVE candy corn! After having 2-3 of them you want to throw out the bag. It is way too sugary and you can't taste any chocolate. 4. Candy Corn- How could I forget this classic? I am a huge candy corn fan. The key to being a longtime candy corn lover is to avoid over-doing it. A small handful allows you to appreciate the smooth honey texture and taste of this seasonal delight. The Fall Mix version is also good, but those pumpkins can get to you if you have too many too fast, which is easy to do with their size. The Fall Mix also includes the chocolate version of the original candy corn. While I enjoy the classic version better, the chocolate isn't overwhelming so indulging once in a while really hits the spot. 5. Starbucks Hot Caramel Apple Cider topped with Caramel syrup and Whipped Cream- Sugar. That's all I thought as I took my first sip. I personally think that it needs to be cut with something so tame down the sugar a little, not that I didn't finish it or anything :) It is not for those that just want a little pick-me-up, this is for dedicated sweetness lovers only. Your first sip is just as sweet as the last. Think about the last time your mouth hurt from how sweet something was, never had that sensation? Then you haven't lived my friend. Next up on my list include Pumpkin Spiced Chai Tea Latte Mix from Starbucks, Pumpkin Pie doughnut from Dunkin Donuts, and Pumpkin Spiced Oreos (and the Caramel Apple version if I have to). There are more on the ever growing list- stay tuned!
