I’ve been so busy reading the new @baaronovitch book False Value I forgot to update everyone! I love the Peter Grant series and this book is a return to form for Aaronovitch! Whilst the previous novella, October Man, was good, I found that it suffered a bit from the complete shift to a different character. I would like to know more about Tobias Winter, (the German equivalent to Peter) I feel he deserves a bigger book than he got. False Value starts off slowly, jumping back and forth between the current day in the story and a month before, but when it gets going it feels a lot more like the Peter Grant stories I’ve loved!
