This isn’t a demo disc at all, but it did come with the batch of Hyper PlayStation Re-Mix discs that I recently finished uploading and it’s interesting enough that I figure it’s worth archiving for posterity. Anyway, as the title up top alludes to, this is a disc produced by Famitsu Wave that focuses on some of Square’s big tentpole titles in 1998. It’s a pretty neat little package all around, featuring a tour of the company’s American headquarters while Parasite Eve was being developed, as well as some developer interviews for Soukaigi and Bushido Blade 2 and tech demo footage of Chocobo de Battle as a motion-controlled game at SIGGRAPH 97. Rounding out the whole thing is a collection of commercials for various Square games that are worth a look in the sense that many Japanese game commercials are worth a look.
