I really don’t think it takes a pianist to even know that C is THE most famous note/chord when producing music. and I’m also not shocked that Am is closely related to it. Music now a days has everything. The super thumping kick to get you moving, and the break has that melodic, mostly in minor keys, to make you feel all warm about the song and to think you’re having the best time of your life. Lol, It has become very structured. At least with modern EDM and Club Hip-Hop/Trap -Although I really can’t say too much about that scene because I don’t follow HH/Trap that much.
